as I AM - Something For Everyone
“Someone once said, there’s nothing new under the sun.... and as I look around in society I can’t help but be reminded of when I was growing up.... I was a child of the 60s.... anyone who knows history, knows there was a lot going on back then. If you had known me before this lifestyle you would say: if anyone should not be talking to us today, it should be her.“ Discover the face behind the story in Episode 3 of as I AM: “Something For Everyone” This video series simply highlights individuals whose gripping testimonies prove that no matter who we are, we all have struggles, but through Christ we overcome. as I AM - No Clichés
"Sometimes we have this concept that people leave the church psychically, and they've left their faith and everything, those are the people we like to talk about: 'oh they left church. I was writing sermons. I was leading Bible studies on Friday nights, and I couldn't care less about God." "I went through an experience of loss that really challenged my ideas of God. For the first time I had to confront what I really believed about why God allows people to go through pain. Of course you know you have the regular answers: 'well you know it's all for the good of humanity, its good for your character' and that just really seemed sadist to me." "And so emotionally I walked away. I was still going to church, but mentally I was so checked out." See the face behind the story as this millennial in ministry shares how differently God responded to her most burning questions in "No Clichés."

Tiny Chair Talks Ep. 6 - Church Discipline
In Episode 7, Ray Gray sits in our Tiny Chairs with Rocio Roberts to talk about "Friendship Evangelism." "Evange-living," "friendship evangelism," this concept has different names but the idea is the same: allowing the natural day-to-day affairs of our lives (and relationships in particular) to be a witness for the gospel. Is this an approach that is valued by members of the church? On the one hand, you have the call to evangelism as outlined in Matthew 28:19-20 by Jesus himself. On the other hand, it's a well observed phenomena that many (particularly among younger generations) tend to view the concept of evangelizing, as demonstrated by most traditional methods, as covert proselytizing. It is viewed as underhanded, disrespectful, or pushy to be interested in or engage with someone only with the goal of converting them. Rocio brings a fresh, no-strings-attached, middle-ground approach to the conversation; one that isn't necessarily new, but perhaps has never been fully explored or embraced. This episode is a bit lengthy but plenty of good food for thought.
